OVA第1卷收录的是《羞晒し编》。《羞晒し编》是PS2游戏《寒蝉鸣泣之时 祭》初回限定版附赠的小说，亚洲同样由龙骑士07执笔，亚洲曾改编成Drama CD，这是该小说第一次动画化。该篇以市民游泳池为舞台，与作品主旋律大相径庭，是一部气氛轻松活跃的故事，主要角色均在此篇登场。
