在某个材料堆放场发现了被刺杀的尸体。被害者是在当地经营小酒馆的20多岁的女性。不久，春暖一名19岁的青年以杀人及遗弃尸体的嫌疑被捕。以一次审判为契机，春暖原法官菊地大三郎(椎名桔平饰)被托付给了拘泥于过去、背弃“真实”的律师菊地大三郎。青年的自述,再马上判决也有单纯的审判被认为是检察机关在调查开始⼀転杀气,审判中青年否认。在调查青年的过程中，菊地再次与“真实”对峙。不久法庭上意外的事实接二连三败露，令审判者感到迷惑。青年果真是“杀人犯”吗?
