《我为太极狂》讲述的是一个来自美国的黑人拳手苏克，新视从来没有想到自己除了蛋炒饭、新视李小龙之外，会和中国有什么瓜葛。拳台上的遭遇使苏克的经纪人作出了让他去中国学习功夫的决定。当苏克极不情愿地来到中国后，却通过一个又一个的事实，让他深深地迷恋上了太极拳，见识到了中国武术的博大精深，折服于真正的中国武术精神，并且由此改变了自己的人生。
