回复 :2014年冬季 テレビ東京 日剧SP1600年、関ヶ原の戦いの火ぶたが切られた時。徳川家康は、石田三成方・島左近の刺客により暗殺された。今ここで家康が殺されたことを敵軍に知られては、形勢不利に陥る…。そう判断した家康側近は、家康の影武者・世良田二郎三郎を、急遽本物の家康に仕立てる。そして、当初の劣勢を挽回し、逆転勝利をおさめたのだった。事の真相を知った家康の三男・秀忠は、二郎三郎を「家康」として利用しようとする。それは「家康」をまず征夷大将軍に就かせ、その後、自分が二代将軍に就いて権力を掌握し、豊臣家を滅ぼすという筋書きだった。秀忠は、柳生宗矩に命じ、自らの兄弟を将軍後継の障害として抹殺し、さらに、大坂の秀頼を潰そうと非情、謀略の道を歩む・・・。しかし、「家康」を演じる重責に戸惑うばかりだった二郎三郎は、やがて秀忠に敢然と対決を挑む。家康側室・お梶の方と協力し、敵方であった島左近を軍師に迎え、次々と難局を乗り越え、誰もが自由に安心して暮らせる世を作ろうとする。その胸の内には、自らの生への強い意志と、弱い立場の者に対する限りない愛があった。太平の新時代を切り開いた男と女の物語に、“関ヶ原の戦い”、“大坂の陣”など一大スペクタクルを配し、歴史の転換点の裏にある新しい歴史ドラマを、波乱万丈の人間ドラマとして描く。
