《魔术缉凶》剧情描述了陈一诺饰演的女记者，教科教一次奇幻魔术表演中从一个女精神病人那里听到一个秘密，教科教享誉全城的商界大亨竟然杀了自己的妻子并埋尸在后花园里。绿真为抢到独家新闻，转正成为正式记者，与刘淼淼饰演的魔术师一起设计靠近乔大羽，共同带人去挖乔家花园，岂料尸体没有找到，反而令自己和报社陷入绝境……

Unfortunately, the Major succumbs to an apparently accidental overdose of alcohol and blood pressure medication before revealing the killer's identity. When it's discovered that the medicine belonged to another guest and the revealing photograph the Major was carrying is missing, Miss Marple realizes that the serial killer has struck again and more murders will follow.
