诚人（松田龙平 饰）是一名在边缘挣扎的摄影师，午夜有一天，午夜他收到前女友静流（广末凉子 饰）的来信，信中说自己要在纽约开摄影展了。回忆的匣子打开了，三年前大学里两人的故事从一个美丽的橘子开始，两人的分裂却源于静流叫诚人教她摄影，原本只是单纯想融入诚人的世界的静流却显示出极高的天赋，迅速在摄影比赛中捧回新人奖，这让诚人心生嫉妒，进而提出分手，静流说会等他有一天成为一名专业的摄影师再和他见面。时光荏苒，两人未曾有过任何联系，可是同学会上竟传来静流早就在一年前死去的消息。诚人无法相信这是真的，他登上了飞往纽约的航班寻找静流……
