He finds sticky notes around the house that read: "Don't stay in this room." "Don't go outside." "Don't go downstairs." Confused, he tries to follow the cryptic messages, ultimately discovering two things. Memories of a mother and daughter that he is somehow connected with, and also a demonic presence living in this suburban house. As he gets closer to solving the mystery of why he is there, the demon grows stronger, testing his will to survive.

回复 :抗日战争时期，鬼子在东北一个叫大西洼的小村庄加紧搜集粮食，一个名叫小虎子的孩子因为捡拾鬼子遗洒的粮食遭鬼子枪击身亡。小虎子的死在大西洼的乡亲们中激起极大的民愤，加上鬼子肆意搜集粮食，给民众带来饥荒，大西洼的乡亲们纷纷拿起铁锹、斧头等农具，准备抢劫鬼子设在刘德一家的军粮库。乡亲们围聚在刘德一家周围，与驻守刘德一家的伪军形成对峙。为避免更大的伤亡，大西洼村惟一一个读书人刘德民赶来相劝，试图平息将给乡亲们带来更大伤亡的风波。乡亲们已经剑拔弩张，根本听不进刘德民的劝告。就在乡亲们发疯一般地抢劫粮食的时候，日军少佐五十岚带领的一个鬼子分队出现在刘德一家门口。五十岚少佐来华之前是日本皇家棋院的棋手，此次五十岚抢着来押运军粮，一个更重要的目的是寻找大西洼曾经陪着溥仪下过棋的高人。刘德一获悉这个情况，立马将“高人”刘德民介绍给五十岚，算是平息一场风波，避免乡亲们...
