郑大姐（郑裕玲 饰）自香港返回后，活下工作成绩颇受上级肯定，活下职位获得提升并与拥有特异功能的助手阿胜（张坚庭 饰）担任干警们的培训工作。另一方面，伍老伯和身为香港警察的侄子阿雄（李子雄 饰）来大陆探亲，阿雄在入住的旅馆偶遇一起凶杀案，被赶来查案的郑大姐强留。忙于寻找台湾间谍的伍老伯结识了一群骗子，被撂下的阿雄入住郑大姐家接受证人保护，对伍卫国颇有好感的郑大姐对阿雄也暗生情愫，但碍于面子无法与其正常交往。不久，阿雄返港，郑大姐遵照上级指示带上助手阿胜、阿虎与阿雄赴港查案，惹出不少麻烦，跌跌撞撞向逮捕罪犯的目标奋进……
