回复 :故事发生在1940年的德国，维维亚娜（伊莎贝尔·阿佳妮 Isabelle Adjani 饰）是当红的女明星，她的恋人是内务部长博福尔（热拉尔·德帕迪约 Gérard Depardieu 饰），两人决定逃往法国南部，躲避德国人的铁蹄。实际上，维维亚娜在很早之前就背叛了两人的感情，和一个名叫弗雷德里克（格雷戈里·德朗热尔 Grégori Derangère 饰）的年青诗人搞在了一起，看着对此一无所知的博福尔为了他们的安全和生计四处打点奔波，维维亚娜内心里感到十分的愧疚。那边厢，弗雷德里克替人顶罪被关进了监狱，和同样身陷囹圄的小贼拉欧尔（伊万·阿达勒 Yvan Attal 饰）一起，两人在战乱之中越狱了。他们在逃往的途中结识了女学生卡米尔（维尔日妮·勒杜瓦扬 Virginie Ledoyen 饰）和她的老师科博尔斯基（让-马克·斯特莱 Jean-Marc Stehlé 饰），这两个人打算把一车重水秘密的送往英国。
