影片讲述了四个青年男女在找工作的过程中，空中因为一连串误会而引发的爆笑故事。大黑和二楞到城里找工作，空中遇上了正在寻找临时演员的剧组，于是误打误撞进入了剧组充当临时演员，正在这时，一个叫老魏的人给了他们两个一个秘密任务，寻找被贾主任收藏起来的卓筒井字画。于是，一连串搞笑奇葩的追梦旅程就此开始……
