阿安（马浚伟 饰）父亲早逝，讲究10多岁就到街坊金老板（郑则仕 饰）的金石记去当学徒学石碑雕刻，讲究养家糊口。一晃数年过去，安boy早已成为出色的石雕师傅，金老板亦十分照顾他，当他亲生儿子一样看待。金老板的儿子阿Roy（曹永廉 饰）为人好高骛远，大学毕业进入了大公司任职。阿Roy善于经营，炒股赚了大钱，一时意气风发，但随后股市低迷反而亏了很多。街坊嘉嘉（钟嘉欣 饰）和男友G-man 经营的手机店为了赚钱进了一批假电池，阿安不知情买回来后假电爆炸去找他们理论反而遭到恶言相向。随后嘉嘉看清男友G-man本质，和他分手了，并在阿安的鼓励重新开始自己的人生。而金老板决定退休，面对方旺记的高价收购，金老板思考再三决定还是将金石记便宜转让给阿安，为的就是要保住金石记这一块金漆招牌。阿安接手金石记后，生意更加红火，他的人生正在展开一段金石良缘。
