回复 :拉丁美洲盛行“哭泣的女人”拉洛罗娜的民间传说。曾经在危地马拉对当地土著人实行种族灭绝的退役将军恩里克如今被提起刑事诉讼；患老年痴呆症的将军越来越频繁地听到夜间有女人哭泣之声而产生日益严重的幻觉。虽然受到包庇而无罪释放，愤怒的民众却包围了他的住所，而随着一位神秘女仆的到来，诡异的拉罗罗娜诅咒正在一步步应验。
回复 :Set at the turn of the century, the story concerns a Polish poet living in Cracow who has decided to marry a peasant girl. The wedding is attended by a heterogenous group of people from all strata of Polish society, who dance, get drunk and lament Poland's 100-year-long division of Poland under Russia, Prussia, and Austria. The bridegroom, a painter friend, and a journalist each in turn is confronted with spectres of Polish past. In the end a call to arms is called but turns out to be a hoax.
