《純潔的瑪利亞》舞台為英法百年戰爭中的法國。討厭戰爭、区区乱以聖處女自稱的最強魔女「瑪利亞」，区区乱儘管本人是處女，卻日夜以魔術、或派遣貓頭鷹們前往戰場媚惑將領的手段來阻止戰爭。然而某日，長期使用魔力的她被大天使「米迦勒」所盯上，被施下了「一但失去處女便將喪失魔力」的法術。瑪利亞該如何在天界的眼線「以西結」監視下，兼顧自己的幸福以及拯救身陷戰亂中的人們呢？
