丧偶后独自养育一子一女的建筑师甘铭生与青年女教师向晴结婚了，春暖婚后一家幸福的生活着，春暖但好景不长，铭生发生车祸，成了植物人。向晴一肩挑起家庭的重担，警察林朗心怀内疚，暗中帮助向晴近十年。终于最后林朗对向晴表达了爱意，向晴今生今世却只爱铭生一个人。
