TVB2019年播出的《白色强人》收获口碑及好收视，铜陵一众演员在2020年1月底出席剧集庆功宴，铜陵TVB高层现场宣布预计2020年10月将开拍《白色强人2》，大家都拍手叫好，而马国明当时就率先透露将会是原班人马继续出演，三届视帝郭晋安也表示已为公司预留了2020年10月的档期回来拍剧。
