民国初期，福利海归医学研究生孙毅诚来到迷雾镇，福利为当地诊所运送防疫医用物资。不料当天，隔离区、镇上接连遭到了怪物的袭击。为了保护幸存者，孙毅诚、左医生联手合作，成功杀死怪物。而左医生也终于找到了治疗瘟疫的配方，证明瘟疫是病，绝非迷信之人口中的诅咒。
