回复 :麦特、朗恩和博尼三个人是好朋友。麦特的爸爸在十年前意外身亡。麦特和母亲相依为命。一天，麦特和朋友三人去树林里玩，不小心掉到了一个洞里，意外发现了一个邮包，三人交给了邮局，于是邮局将邮包内的信投递出去。意外的是麦特竟然收到了一封爸爸写给自己的信，信中称自己和迪莱克·詹姆思发现了一个秘密，可能有麻烦了，让妻子爱琳找到关于一张印错的梭罗邮票的报告副本，并且说在雨天他们常去的餐厅留下了惊喜。给小麦特写信是怕信被人劫走。而实际上，麦特的爸爸和迪莱克·詹姆思真的在一场意外中死了。麦特看完信后，敏感的感觉到信不一般，于是没有告诉妈妈，也没有报警，想自己查出来到底爸爸遇见的麻烦是怎么回事。于是麦特跟朋友去邮局询问那份报告。在邮局没有找到报告副本，反而引起了在邮局工作的杰克的主意，杰克联系了赛克斯，告诉他麦特在问这件事。麦特想起信中提起是迪莱克·詹姆思写的报告，于是去找詹姆思的女儿塔拉，塔拉十分叛逆，麦特吃了闭门羹。杰克和赛克斯在暗中关注麦特的行动，两个人都很担心，在争论中透露了事情的原委。原来整个事情是由一张印错的梭罗邮票引起的，有一批印错的邮票，政府强制收回邮票，只剩一张流落在外，印错的邮票很值钱，何况只有一张。幸运的是，这张邮票被杰克发现了，他想占为己有，迪莱克·詹姆思反对，想上交，并且将在报社工作的麦特的爸爸牵扯进来了。市长麦克斯和杰克杀人灭口，想将邮票夺回，无奈杀了二人之后还是没能找到邮票。不料十年后，又有人旧事重提。麦特说服迪莱克·詹姆思的女儿塔拉跟自己去调查。麦特去找另一条线索——雨中常去的餐厅，跟妈妈侧面打听到雨中的餐厅后，和塔拉潜入餐厅，却一无所获。麦特坚信爸爸给妈妈的惊喜应该在点唱机里，于是辗转找到了当时的那个点唱机，找到了那张邮票。在回来的路上，两个人被警察抓住。之后，塔拉心灰意冷，认为拿到邮票也不能怎么样，想离开小镇。麦特鼓励塔拉留下，留下的理由就是塔拉有自己。杰克得知麦特拿到了邮票，绑架了麦特和他可，逼迫麦特去取邮票，拿塔拉当人质。最后亨得利警官赶来，混战之后制服了杰克，杰克带领警察前去指认赛克斯。自此，麦特的爸爸和塔拉的爸爸两个人的死因终于天下大白了。根据法规规定，麦特现在是邮票的合法新主人，虽然邮票只值从前的一半。麦特和塔拉也成为了好朋友，最后麦特和塔拉相视而笑。故事告一段落。

This extract from Hölderlin’s text is also inserted into their 1989 film Cézanne.“O somma luce” invokes utopia, or better still “u-topos,” Dante, Holderlin, Cézanne… the camera movement, recalling Sisyphus, in the film’s long shots, suggests its difficulty.In O somma luce, with Giorgio Passerone’s Dante and the verse that concluded the Divine Comedy, we find at the extremity of its possibilities, the almost happy speech of a man who has just left earthly paradise, who tries to fully realize the potential of his nature.
