回复 :故事发生在上个世纪四十年代的重庆，山城日报记者冉云为解救被土匪绑架的儿童，偶遇重庆警备司令部的刘孝堂处长，二人在诸多磨难中产生了爱情。真情感动了冉云的养父母，最终同意二人结合。意外的是，在拜堂成亲之时，上峰紧急调刘孝堂回部队，而后内战爆发。刘孝堂随兵败的国民党部队退守台湾。从此二人隔海相望，开始了漫长的相思之苦。进入二十一世纪，已是老年的冉云终于盼来了两岸三通，她和刘孝堂终于可以见面了。
