岸边野裕里（松隆子）在姐姐远野未笑的葬礼上，午夜遇到了姐姐的女儿远野鮎美（广濑铃）。无法接受母亲亡故的鮎美，午夜也无法打开母亲留下的最后一封信。裕里参加了要和大家报告姐姐往生的同学会，巧的是，她的初恋对象镜史郎（福山雅治）也来了，两人在一封封书信的联系中串接起三人当年的故事。

回复 :刑警父亲因公殉职多年后，遗传了父亲血性的田燕（汤唯 饰）也成了警察，不过她做的是交警。上班第一天，她就因照章办事得罪了赶着出庭的大律师端木长春（田雨 饰），但后者当时没同她计较，令她得意洋洋。支队领导李队晓得事情始末后，批评她做事欠妥当，因为端木长春十分不好惹，果然，她被骂时生 出的火还没消，支队就收到法院的传票。在李队和指导员的“唬吓”下，田燕为了不使她与端木长春的私人恩怨牵连到支队，硬着头皮找到端木长春要求和解，不想不打不相识的两人竟因此成为恋人。然而，他们的爱情之路，因为暗恋端木长春的叶卿（李佳璇 饰）的刻意作梗，充满了波折。
