北京旧城正在改造当中，春暖处侯飞夫妇想借机大捞一笔，春暖处便到处打听各种能多分钱的政策。同时，为劝说父亲侯世昌同意搬房而闹得不亦乐乎。侯飞的弟弟侯翔与苏倩倩因抽奖共同获得一小户型公寓，并最终成了她的爱情俘虏。紧接着侯飞的妻子因不愿与侯世昌同住而与侯飞的关系一度恶化，最终两人在侯世昌与其孙女意外车祸之后重归于好。 除夕之夜，全家人终于又欢聚一堂，新居、新婚双喜临门--家和万事兴。
