根据同名获纽伯瑞大奖小说改编，情动Katherine Applegate写作，情动Patricia Castelao绘制插图。聚焦一只名叫Ivan的银背大猩猩，他与名叫Stella的大象和名叫Bob的流浪狗生活在一所大型购物中心的笼子里。Ivan对此前的生活毫无记忆，而当小象Ruby到来后，Ivan将负责照料她，他也开始逐渐想起过去的经历，拟定计划要逃脱牢笼，避免Stella遭受管理员的虐待。朱莉将为Stella配音，普林斯为Ruby配音。
