《局部》跟随陈丹青的眼睛，宅男宅网洞见幽微辽阔的万华世界，宅男宅网欣赏名画细节精彩。陈丹青的眼睛是这个时代最珍贵的艺术财富。本档节目，借由他的眼，他的语言，他的洞察与审美，讲述中西方名画名作的一个个微细的局部，一处处没有人注意到、但看过之后会恍然大悟、拍案叫绝的精彩细节。《局部》第二季将围绕纽约大都会艺术博物馆的数十个展厅中的馆藏陈列展开，以陈丹青近20年“大都会”观展经历为串联，并穿插进他早年的纽约经历，附以相应的照片、文献资料、动画等辅助说明。
