在莫斯科两站之间的地铁隧道因施工问题产生裂缝，杭州花开隧道天花板渗漏下来的水滴并未引起足够的重视，杭州花开结果引发莫斯科河水倒灌，载有数百名乘客的地铁列车陷入洪水之中，不仅令地下隧道面临崩溃，也将毁灭整个城市。安德烈加林和他的女儿捷尼亚医生被困在隧道中。加林医生试图营救乘客，其中包括他妻子的情人。他必须克服怨恨，愤怒和恐惧。除了生存，他还要找回自己的爱情和家庭。
